    Kadet max

Fits my laptop which is what I was looking for.

The WP zippers are pretty awesome.

Great addition as a supplement to my kadet.

I like the new plastic cross body clip too.

Weatherproof and good looking but a missed opportunity to build a good bag.

    Pros:

Truly waterproof, nice look, lightweight, good shape, and comfort.

    Cons:

The material used is noisy and very stiff, it feels like starched paper that crumples... The corners are fragile, even though they're reinforced. There's no interior lining; if the bag gets a hole, it's ruined. The plastic buckle doesn't seem sturdy. The zippers are very difficult to operate, making this model much less practical than other Kadet Max slings. The space is smaller than other Kadet Max models, and the interior pockets in both compartments are very, very stiff.

Value for money: 2.5 out of 5.

    BAD BAG

This Bag is not what you think, and it's too rigged and poorly made in various ways.

Mostly Positive with a Few Drawbacks

The bag is definitely still waterproof, no question there. The overall look is a big plus for me – especially the new “buckle” design on the back. I actually like it better than previous versions, though I’m unsure how durable it is over time. The material feels very rough and rigid, which gives it a sleek, almost hard-shell suitcase vibe – something I really appreciate.

One thing I noticed right out of the box was a very sharp crease where the bag had been compressed during packaging. I’m not sure how much of an issue this might be with this specific material, but in general, such pressure points tend to wear out faster over time. Unfortunately, the bag doesn’t have any stitched folds to relieve this tension. It would really benefit from either a structural frame or internal reinforcement to help maintain its shape and prevent creasing.

A big positive for me: the main compartment is noticeably larger than before, which I really like. On the downside, the zipper is too small for the laptop section and might scratch it. The choice of zipper itself seems a bit over-engineered – sure, it’s airtight and watertight (technically, you could use this bag as an emergency flotation device), but it’s very hard to open and definitely requires lubrication to keep it smooth.

What bothers me most – as I mentioned before – is that the opening is too narrow and stiff, which makes it awkward to use. The front compartment uses the same zipper type and suffers from the same problem: it…
